# Ortega Skin Contact 2025

**Description**  
A beautifully fresh and textured expression of our beloved Ortega, fermented on skins for 16 days before ageing in amphora, old oak and stainless steel.  
  
Picked by hand on 8 September 2025, the Ortega was destemmed and fermented on its skins for 16 days with wild yeast. The free-run juice was then racked off the lees and aged for ten months across amphora (freshly lined with Sussex beeswax), old barrels and stainless steel.  
  
Fresh apricot, eucalyptus and honey on the nose. Bright and fresh on the palate, with fennel fronds and a gentle grip.
