Our Ortega is a delicate, precisely made wine, which has been produced using a combination of natural and selected yeasts. This year’s vintage showcases everything we love about Ortega as a variety - a nose of tropical fruit and on the palate a herbal, saline finish.
Our Double Pinot 2022 is a co-ferment of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. It’s an energetic pale ruby red wine with mulberries and cherries on the nose reflecting a great growing season. As always, additions were minimal and, as with this year’s Pet Nat, both were spontaneous ferments with nothing added.
This is a an untamed and fruity affair with a palate of ripe red apple, raspberries and sherbet. It’s an easy drinker which is just as at home with oysters or chips as it is on its own. We’ve been enjoying it as an aperitif or with anything salty, potato-y and hearty.
