Westwell Wine Estates
Our site is located just beneath the Pilgrims Way on the North Downs, a route used for centuries by Pilgrims travelling to Canterbury. Just over 9 acres is planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier - our sparkling wine varieties - and 4 acres of Ortega - our still wine variety.
All our wines are made from grapes grown on our estate. We believe that having complete control of the quality allows every decision to be based on whether it will drive better quality & complexity in the finished wine. This combined with our sought after location has created wines that are elegant and downright tasty!
We ensure a low interventionist approach to express the wine’s origin as much as possible. Our sparkling is all bottle fermented and aged on their lees for between 2 and 5 years using reserve wines in the blend. And our Ortega is treated with respect to bring the flavours to the fore.
