Vineyard Tour & Tasting
Join a guided tour around the estate and learn about our approach to sustainable viticulture and winemaking. We'll also be bringing you inside to the winery where you'll be able to taste through this vintage's wines as they progress - direct from tank.
The tour will last approximately two hours and will involve a walk in the vineyard on uneven ground, so come with suitable footwear and clothing for potential wet and cold weather.
You'll be able to purchase wines from the cellar door which are not available anywhere else.
We are now able to offer a food option ticket to accompany your tasting - please let us know of any dietary requirements.
Dogs are welcome at Westwell but must be kept on a lead and unfortunately we can't allow them into the winery.
We love to get youngsters enthused about wine growing so provided they are accompanied by an adult, children under 18 can come along for free (as long as they're kept on a lead) but we can't allow them to participate in the tasting.
New Rose
When pressing fruit for sparkling wine, we only use the first 55% to 60% for our signature Pelegrim NV blend. The second cut of juice is around 10% and it's this juice that was used to produce this cuvée. Fermented in barrel using indigenous yeast, the wine was left for 10 months before blending and bottling with a small sulphur addition.
