Sunday 23 November, 10-4pm | £65.00Lino Greetings Cards Workshop with Lunch + Wine
Take time out for yourself to explore creative carving, and experience printing with a 19th-century press. The day begins in our tasting room with tea and coffee where your tutor Rachel will introduce you to the linocut process. This will be followed by a walk round the vineyard and winery, where you'll gather ideas and motifs to use as the basis for your prints. Back inside, Rachel will guide you through basic design principles helping you turn your sketches and photos into a final composition. Whether you create your own design or opt for a pre-made template, you’ll learn transfer techniques, master image reversal and get hands-on carving your tile using specialist tools. By this point, you might be in need of refreshment, so it’s time for a light lunch and (after you’ve finished carving your linocut) a glass of sparkling wine. Once revived, it’s time to print and see your art come to life as you ink up your linocut and print a series of greetings cards using a cast-iron 19th-century press. You’ll also have the option to perfectly finish off your day with a wine tasting at the preferential price of £10 per person. -
Thursday November 27th, 7pm - 9pm | £50.00Ceramic Christmas Ornament Workshop
A joyful, hands-on experience led by a the brilliant Katharine Gray. You'll explore the art of ceramics, learning about clay and the pottery process as you create and decorate your own ornaments. Each participant will make up to three unique pieces, which will be glazed, fired, and delivered to you within approximately four weeks. All materials, tools, clay, expert guidance, glazing and firing are included in the cost. To make the experience even more festive, enjoy a glass of Westwell wine and some delicious nibbles as you create. -
Friday 28 November, 4-9pmTree Decorating + Tacos
Kick off the season with a cosy evening at ours decorating the tree, making festive badges, with drinks including mulled wine, fizz, stills and soft drinks, plus a Christmas taco menu from T's Tacos. This is a welcoming, family-friendly evening to celebrate the wonderful community we’ve built with you at Westwell. Drop-ins for a glass of wine are very welcome but please do email to book food in advance. -
Sunday 30th November, 10:30am - Midday | £36.00Children's Clay Christmas Ornament Workshop
Get creative and festive at our special Christmas Ornament Workshop - just for kids! Led by a friendly expert potter, children will learn how to work with clay and make up to three fun and festive ornaments. They'll get to decorate their creations too! After the workshop, the ornaments will be glazed, fired in a kiln, and and finished in about four weeks, just in time to hang on the tree or give as gifts. All materials, tools, and tuition are included. Plus, there’ll be tasty snacks and drinks to keep the festive spirit going! Perfect for little makers aged 5+. -

How Five Women Reclaimed Nature in a Man’s World.
Join us for a special evening with author Sarah Lonsdale, celebrating her new book Wildly Different, recently listed in the Financial Times ‘Best Books for Summer 2025’.
Sarah will explore the extraordinary lives of five women including Evelyn Cheesman (1881–1969); explorer, scientist, writer, and artist who was born and raised in Court Lodge, Westwell, as well as stories of the other remarkable women featured in her book and the challenges they overcame in a male-dominated field, followed by a Q&A with the audience. -

Join us for some festive paper crafts at a relaxed + creative session in our tasting room. You’ll have the chance to design your own wrapping paper, tags, gift bags, and delicate paper stars; perfect for Christmas gifting and decorating. Your ticket includes all materials, plus a glass of wine and snacks. Bring a pal, enjoy some informal creative fun, and take home some beautiful handmade things. Finish the session off perfectly with an add on a wine tasting. -

Start the year with fresh air and simple pleasures! From 12 on New Year’s Day, join us for hot bacon butties, cold fizz, blustery dog walks in the vineyard and board games to while away the afternoon. Pop in, grab a bottle of wine, and ease into 2026 with us.
