In-Depth Tour & Technical Tasting

A deeper dive into the wines of Westwell

£70.00

Join us on the first Saturday of every month for an intimate, technical exploration of Westwell Wines. Limited to 10 guests, this is an opportunity to get a bit more geeky and discover the decisions, experiments and ideas that shape our wines.

We’ll take you behind the scenes for a more in-depth tour of the vineyard and winery, exploring our low intervention approach to winemaking and what makes our corner of Kent such a special place to grow grapes and make wine.

Then settle in for an extended, guided tasting through the Westwell range, exploring 6-7 wines in more detail. The tasting will also include an unreleased cuvee or a library wine: a chance to revisit a wine from our archives and discover how it has developed over time.

To accompany the tasting, each guest can enjoy a locally sourced cheese, charcuterie or plant-based plate.

Designed for curious wine drinkers, enthusiasts and anyone who wants to understand a little more about how our wines are made, this is a chance to spend some extra time with the wines, ask our brilliant, knowledgable staff lots of questions and get to know Westwell in greater depth.

All places will receive a £10 off voucher to purchase any undiscounted wines at the cellar door after your tasting*.

🏆 Best Cellar Door (Small) - WineGB Awards 2026

You’ll be able to purchase wines from the cellar door.

Well behaved dogs (and their owners) are welcome at Westwell, both in the vines and in the tasting room, but must be kept on a lead. Unfortunately, dogs cannot enter the winery.

We’re happy to accommodate under 18s - please leave a note in the comments to ensure there’s space. They do not need to purchase a ticket; soft drinks are available to purchase from the tasting room bar on the day.

Please note that non-drinkers attending a tour will still need to purchase a ticket. We can offer a choice of soft drinks or a £15 credit on the day if they don’t take part in the tasting.
