Description
Wicken Foy is a traditional method wine made with care and precision. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier are fermented separately before blending, followed by a secondary fermentation in bottle to create fine, persistent bubbles. Lees aging plus the addition of reserve wine from 2013 and 2014 magnums brings an extra layer of richness, character and depth.
The wine balances notes of toast, brioche and hazelnut with fine bubbles, a savoury mid-palate and Westwell’s trademark salinity.
