Have you ever wanted to make your own wine?

The most innovative English wine club around is back: Sun Dirt Yeast Club!

We want to share our love of wine and the winemaking process with you - bringing important decisions on how to make the wine to you. As a member, you'll have the opportunity to vote on and influence the wine that the Club produces. Of course, we’ll help along the way and when a decision is required, we'll share the wine theory with you so you can make a more informed decision on the next step.

Throughout the year, you'll have the opportunity to build your wine knowledge with hands-on events and experiences to learn how we make the wines you love.

The Club Wine

As a member you’ll be making a wine through a democratic process - from harvest through the tasting notes, you’ll vote your way through the winemaking process and receive six bottles at the end. So what will it be for your vote - red, white, rose, orange? Still or sparkling?

Get Your Hands Dirty

Throughout your year's membership, we’ll invite you to get closer and hands-on with the process. The exact events will vary according to the decisions you make along the way, but may include all or some of the below. (Due to the nature of winemaking some events will be confirmed at short notice, however we will always give as much notice as possible).

October - get picking on a harvest day. Come and select the bunches for your Club wine.
December - taste the tanks in this unique opportunity to learn how our wines are fermenting and how we expect that to potentially evolve.
Come in for an in-depth tour of the vineyard and see how the team are preparing the vines for the following year.
Depending on the choices you make, we might suggest that we blend your wine with some of our own. If that's needed, we’ll host a blending event and take you through the process before you take a live decision.
As your wine is fermenting, it will be time to think about what the label and what the tasting notes will read so we will have a first glimpse of how your wine is shaping up.
Once the wine is ready, it’s time to celebrate at party for members to celebrate the rewards of all your hard work! Taste the wine you made and (if it's ready!) take your bottles home!

Single Membership

£420 (£35 monthly)

For the solo winemaker, enjoy all the benefits and (unless you want to!), you don't have to share the wine! Includes a total of 12 bottles of wine.

Dual Membership

£480 (£40 monthly)

One house, two budding winemakers - this membership will allow both of you to join the events at no extra cost, have two registered email addresses and two votes in the democratic process (just in case you don't agree!). Includes a total of 12 bottles of wine to share.

Distant Membership

£360 (£30 monthly)

Want to join the fun but distance makes it hard for you to attend the events? Fear not, this option is for you – you’ll receive all of the benefits except event attendance which will not be included in your membership. Includes a total of 12 bottles of wine.
